The Brickago Project Branding

Challenge: Design brand identity & website for Lego donation
non-profit in the city of Chicago.

Year
2025

Brickago collects donated LEGO sets from all over the city of Chicago, packages them up, and donates them to kids in need.

I knew I had to incorporate the Minifigure head into the logo itself. There was a balance I had to strike with the amount of Chicago iconography which is why I invoked that in the red & blue color palette instead.

Early Logo Iterations

A lot of Chicago iconography was floating around in the beginning. The Brick was also a frequent idea I played around with.

Website

I designed a one-page site to keep things simple in terms of scheduling drop-offs & pick-ups.

Packaging Design

Packaging played a key role in creating a cohesive, personalized Brickago experience for the kids receiving donated LEGO bricks. I infused the brand personality I helped develop into every side of the box, ensuring the unboxing felt fun, welcoming, and authentically Brickago.
